Cup with ornamental protrusions
Gilan Province. 1st-3rd century. Height 9.4 cm., diameter 10.3 cm. Private collection, Tokyo.
A vessel of pale green glass containing many air bubbles. There are large ornamental protrusions below the rim. The body is decorated with regularly spaced glass strings of the same color trailed around it.
