Bowl with circular facets
Gilan Province. 3rd-7th century. Height 8 cm., diameter 10.7 cm. Private collection, Tokyo.
A bowl with a vertical rim, made of light brown opaque glass containing many air bubbles. There are fourteen circular facets in the top row, fifteen in the second, fourteen in the third, seven slightly larger facets in the bottom row, and a large circular facet at the base.
